Correct Translation From English to Italian?

I am doing some research before taking the plunge and getting a tattoo. There is a phrase I am trying to correctly translate for this purpose. It is "BUILD YOUR WINGS". I have played around with multiple online translators and even tried to conjugate the phrase myself... however I seem to come up with a few different results. If someone who is a fluent Italian speaker could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.Correct Translation From English to Italian?
"Costruisci le tue ali" but is it too strong.
